Outpatient

Outpatient therapy can be beneficial for people of any age who are seeking support for a specific diagnosis, who simply want an outlet to speak freely, or to gain insight into their behaviors and decision making skills.

A typical course of outpatient treatment is 6-12 months, but may continue on as long as is needed as determined by the therapist and client.

Psychologists have an advanced degree in psychology and may have focus on research or specific therapy. They are able to diagnose disorder and determine appropriate treatments based on clinical presentation. They may participate in clinical or diagnostic psychological testing. Therapists have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a variety of disciplines such as social work, substance abuse, clinical and counseling psychology. Both psychologicst and therapists work with their clients to reach their individual goals and assist with improvin quality of life.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): This kind of therapy focuses on situational difficulties and includes learning techniques such as cognitive reframing, gaining problem solving skills, confidence development, behavioral modification, and development of coping skills

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT): teaches mindfulness, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and emotion regulation

Solution Focused Therapy (SFT): This type of therapy focuses on the natural strengths of a client to improve outcomes

Medication Management

At ACE, we have two licensed psychiatrists who provide medication management.

Absolutely. At any time during your course of treatment, if you and your clinician decide that medication could be beneficial, you are eligible to begin seeing the psychiatrist. Any client seeking medication must meet with their therapist 3 times to be eligible to meet with ACE psychiatrists.

 

Call our main office number at (610) 796-8110 and choose option #2 to leave a message on our medication management line. These messages are checked throughout the day and will be returned within 24 hours by one of our psychiatric assistants.

Here's a detailed list of services and therapies that we provide our to patients, both as an outpatient or virtually.
Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS)

IBHS is a program for individuals under the age of 21 with cognitive, behavioral, or emotional needs who are in need of support in the home, school, and community. An Individual Treatment Plan (ITP) is created based on clinical necessity with the client and their caregivers to determine potential goals.

Mobile Therapist (MT): Provides therapy to the client in a home or community setting. Mobile therapists can be used to help a client process through emotional and behavioral health challenge.

Behavior Consultant (BC): Provides assessment of a client’s needs to create the ITP that will guide treatment. A BC facilitates coordination between service providers and consults with the family and other members of the client’s treatment team on interventions being used.

Behavioral Health Technician (BHT): Used to implement the interventions that are outlined in a client’s ITP. BHTs work in the home, school, and community setting to support the client by providing interventions for the client.

 

A typical course of treatment for a child in IBHS is 12-18 months. Discharge from the program will occur when the client has met all of the identified treatment goals. After discharge from IBHS, they are usually stepped down to outpatient therapy.

Insurance Coverage and Payments

ACE currently accepts the following insurances: Aetna, Aetna Better Health CHIP, Allwell, Amerihealth Caritas VIP, Capital Blue Cross, Medicaid (CCBH- Berks, North Central, York/Adams), Evernorth (Cigna), Gateway Medicare Assured, Highmark Blue Shield, Humana, Medicare, Medical Assistance, Palmetto GBA, UPMC, 

• Copays and deductibles will be collected prior to services being rendered. 

• Clients can be refused services if they are unable to pay for copays or deductibles at the time services are rendered. 

• Payment plans will be available to those clients who have a balance that exceeds $80. Clients with balances less than $80 will be required to make payment in full prior to services being provided. Clients will be required to pay 20% of the balance (in addition to the copay, if applicable) at the time services are rendered. 

Clients who would like to receive services but do not have active or in-network insurance may pay for services out of pocket using the following fee schedule: 

Individual therapy with non-licensed clinician (1 hour) : $85 

Individual therapy with licensed clinician (1 hour): $105 

Medication check with psychiatrist (In-person): $75 

Medication check with psychiatrist (telepsychiatry): $100 

Psychiatric Evaluation: $175
