Caroline Crowley

Caroline holds a degree in BA with a focus on sociology from the University of Tampa, followed by her Masters in Social Work from Widener University. While attending Widener, Caroline’s area of focus was on substance abuse and mental health and the impacts they have on the family. Caroline also obtained her Trauma Certification while completing her studies at Widener. Caroline brings over 10 years of experience working in the field of social and counseling ranging from working with children in the foster care system throughout Philadelphia, inpatient psychiatric, drug and alcohol and working as a medical social worker. She is also currently working as a residential clinician with teenage boys who have difficulties emotionally regulating, anger management and aggressive behaviors and childhood trauma.

Caroline has worked with both individuals ranging from 10 to 60+ years old focusing on building and strengthening interpersonal relationships, effective communication, developing safety plans and identifying healthy coping strategies to navigate life’s daily stressors.

Caroline is passionate about helping clients identify and create treatment goals that are attainable and realistic while fostering an empathetic and safe environment for individuals to explore their thoughts, feelings and emotions. Her therapeutic style is client centered drawing on evidenced based practices such as mindfulness, CBT, trauma informed care.
